Bus will leave Fawn Hill at 7:30 a.m.  Bus will depart NYC at 5:30 p.m.  Price is $24 per person.  Sign up at the HFCA Office two weeks in advance.

Nature Event – “Big Wicked Puddles!”, Vernal Pools

1:00 p.m.  Meet at the DCNR Maple Run ATV Trail Parking Lot on Route 402.  This walk, led by John Jose, will explore vernal pool ecology. .

Easter Egg Hunt – Fawn Hill

11:00 a.m.  All Hemlock Farms children, pre-school age through 4th grade are invited to meet the Easter Bunny.  Parents are asked to bring a bag for each child’s eggs and a camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Drug Take Back Event – Public Safety Building

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Bring in your unused medications for collection and disposal.  Authorized officers will be on hand to collect and properly dispose of items with complete anonymity.

 

Saturday, May 7

Electronics Recycling Day – DPW Facility, Maple Ridge Dr.

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Bring your electronic items to the Public Works facility for proper disposal by Advanced Recovery of Port Jervis.  $10 per car, of which $2 will be donated to the Hemlock Farms Conservancy.

 

Blood Drive – Firehouse

12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m.  Stop by the Firehouse to donate.

Golf! – LVCC

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Come join the PGA for a fun filled day of golf activities for players age 7 and over.  All skill levels welcome.  Admission is free to the general public, however, reservations are required.  Call 570-775-7325 for more details!
