HFCA takes every precaution to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected.

While on a secure page, such as our Visitor Entry registration form, the lock icon displays on the bottom of the Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

HFCA collects information on our Web site. Personal information is collected when you: register your visitor, contact HFCA via e-mail through the contact form or post items on the Electronic Mailroom Bulletin Board.
The type of information collected includes: names, addresses, e-mail address, telephone number, visitor's names and visitor entry PIN number.
The personal information collected in the Electronic Mailroom Bulletin Board is used for the sole purpose of displaying exactly what the user intended to display, and is not used by HFCA for any other purpose.
Information collected from other areas of the site is used for registering your visitor in our Visitor Entry database . Contact information may be used to contact you regarding your visitor, their arrival and departure dates or other questions that arise from your visitor entry form submission.
Cookies
Cookies are files stored on a user's computer. They are correlated to the particular user but are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The HfCA does not use persistent cookies.
You can opt to decline cookies or delete them at your discretion. Web browser "help" files will provide proper instructions.
Log Files
Like most Web sites, HFCA’s Web site uses log files. The log files include IP (Internet protocol) addresses, browser type, referring pages, and time/date stamp, but they are only used to determine overall demographic information about our visitors and are not linked to personally identifiable information. HFCA uses these statistics in order to provide better service and to improve the function and quality of the site for you and other users. We monitor aggregate data with Webalizer Version 1.3.

HFCA does not release e-mail addresses, phone or fax numbers, or any other information.
CAI also uses outside sources for Web site hosting. The ISPs have access to information stored in our Web databases and log files. The servers that store this information are in a secure environment provided by our hosting companies. HFCA employees who need information to perform a specific job such as visitor entry registration are granted access to personally identifiable information.
